Where did the magic go

Parting ways as never before

Closing doors, and shutting lights

Tears rolling from our eyes.

 

Words did speak, but silence more

As if stranded on a silent shore

Hugs and Kisses are all gone

Left us with the hearts of stone.

 

Did we cross that border line

Where we forget you are mine

This exit might be last to turn

Until point of no return

 

Worth it giving one more chance

Change in life, and change of stance

You never asked, I never told

Emotions close, that we hold

 

Ride back on the familiar road

With silent prayers and hands of god

Time will pass, wounds will heal

Getting close, so home it feels

~ The night we had ~

  The scent of a woman, that specific woman; Torn clothes, and the cluttered linen; Prove the night we had. The moan that buried, beneath the fluttering window drapes; The bite marks, and the nail marks; The battle marks of making out. Dead on one’s feet, after a battle of fire and ice; Burning in desire was pleasing, so was melting to the core; All before I close my eyes.   The morning sun, and the sea breeze, pleased me indeed, but distraction needs something more, than her towel wrapped soul.
