And then she said she knew – All the time I spent with her, Are counted as the diamonds few. The coffee, the dinner, those sunny days – Not one bit, out of her eyes. She reminded me of – one by one, And I kept thinking, is this some pun. Of the pavements, where we laughed, On the things that most little cared.
