A day of Memories -
A day to Cry,
A day to recollect,
A day to love.
You gave me everything -
But, on the cost of most valuable thing.
Though the days will move on,
They will not be same again.
Long life, but hours I live are few,
Now, that I am alone, I am in Pain.
I still remember, time we spend together,
Sharing the sorrows, sharing the happiness.
Inspiring each other for that one step further,
And, all those pranks and all the madness.
Month long combined studies,
Usually ending in movies and outings.
Whole night preparation for exams,
One hour writing, rest time in sleeping.
Chits and writings all around,
Failing to find out what is where.
Finally blaming the question paper,
Again waiting for another turn around.
I remember the love letter you wrote for me,
Writing you girl's name, gave it to my girl.
Hell was that day for me I say,
But, Heaven is to remember that today.
Memories like yesterday I have,
But you don't remember, you are sleeping.
Wake up now, no time to rest,
In this life, lot more are left.
You broke the promise we made,
Leaving me alone, you are sleeping.
Forget not, one life is dying each second here,
While you are sleeping in that grave
